Eduardo Recife.. By far my FAVOURITE EVER illustrator/artist. Based in Brazil, he works in what i can only describe as a wonder of mixed media layers. The skill of his craft is not the only aspect that is truly amazing to me but the investment of time and dedication to find much of the vintage feel imagery really displays that the art he creates is something he must love to do.
The originality and flare throughout the compositions he creates really does make for exciting, deep and complex narratives within his pieces yet still retains the instant visual satisfaction of just a great powerful image.
Started by creating his own fonts/typefaces which are also prevalent throughout much of his imagery. Primarily collage but also draws. Layers, vintage, narrative, font, typography, textures, collections, depth, colour, pattern, detail, perspective.
